Review:
Saw "Wicked!" with Madooa on night #2 of EurpTip. Bought tickets at pretty last minute cuz I didn't think it would happen. Knew Yrm wasn't interested as he'd "done his duty" when they first moved to London. However, at the last minute Yrm got called to Toronto so he wasn't going to be around for my first 3 days in London.
Oh well, guess there's no reason to not see the show eh? hehehe.
I liked it - was surprised that it's housing theatre, The Apollo, was so small. I don't think it's as big as the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver. And apparently it's one of the, if not the, biggest stages in London (O2 Arena doesn't count).
Good show - really enjoyed it. Good production value and cast. I'd see it again. For 80/seat thought? Hmmmm, not quite as spur of the moment me thinks.
